Words of Wisdom for the New Year
As the new year is finally getting in full swing and we're all getting back into life, which includes things like work and school. It can be easy to just live life day to day and forget about important things in life. Because of this reason, I thought it could be beneficial for some to read some words of wisdom and I will also be adding my own two cents to a few of them.
"Life is not a problem to be solved but a reality to be experienced."
- Soren Kierkegaard -
"Don't let yesterday take up too much of today."
- Will Rogers -
I think this quote, in particular, is very important to try to remember, because you shouldn't let stuff in the past ruin your current day and your future.
"With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts."
- Eleanor Roosevelt -
"Wherever life plants you, bloom with grace."
- French Proverb -
Even if you're in what seems to be the worst situation ever imaginable, try to do your best to make the situation as good as possible.
"Your true success in life begins only when you make the commitment to become excellent at what you do"
- Brian Tracy -
"In the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take."
- Lewis Carroll -
If you don't take the chance you never know what could have come from it. That chance may change your life greatly, it might not of course, but it might, so take that chance.
"Make your life a masterpiece; imagine no limitations on what you can be, have or do."
- Brian Tracy -
"You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending."
- C.S. Lewis
No matter what is in your past you can always decide to start fresh and anew, you can't change what happened in the past, so make what is now better.
"Forever is composed of nows."
- Emily Dickinson -
"There are no limits to what you can accomplish, except the limits you place on your own thinking."
- Brian Tracy -
You can do anything if you put enough work in and you have the desire to accomplish the thing, but you can't get anywhere with your ideas or aspirations if you limit yourself by thinking you can't do what you're trying to accomplish.
I hope this was helpful for some of you as we can all get stuck in life, whether stuck creatively, financially or literally anything else that life throws your way. Let me know what you thought of this post!
